Edmund tan
Edmund Tan, the co-founders of Inside Scoop, one of the hipster ice cream businesses that are mushrooming in the Klang Valley, a branch of artisanal ice cream cafés in Malaysia. Flavours such as lychee and Earl Grey, accompanied with scrumptious waffles makes Inside Scoop stand out as a dessert place which caters to different types of taste buds.
Edmund is among many millennials who have given up well-paying corporate positions to try their hands in business. He was doing well in his investment banking career and climbing up the corporate ladder when he decided that there was something more to life than sitting at a desk from nine to five. Starting an ice cream brand which centres in a geographically-strategic place on the map, like Malaysia with its sunny weather, was the first wise choice that Inside Scoop made.
