NYES 2017 team this time come out a new idea with this Exchange rate Challenge and we name it as the ' E-Challenge'.
NYES 2017 will give you some insights how to become a sophisticated trader through the simulation game.

HOW TO PLAY?
Things that YOU and YOUR TEAM must know:
1. LONG AND SHORT EQUITY

The team are allowed to do ‘Long’ (Buy) or ‘Short’ (Sell).

For ‘Long’ position, the team will profit when the trend is up.

For ‘Short’ position, the team will profit when the trend is up.

2. Bid and Asked

When the team is trying to long (buy), the rate will refers to the rate at the column ‘Ask’.

On the other hand, when the team is trying to short (sell), the rate will refers to the rate at Column ‘Bid

3. Leverage and Margin

The leverage used throughout the challenge is 50 times.

This means that every team can obtain 5,000,000 (100,000 x 5 = 5,000,000) worth of contracts at the maximum.

4. Margin Call
-
When margin call is imposed, the team are required to top up or the contract will be terminated
5. How to close your position?
-
You have to ‘Short’ the contract which you initially ‘Long’ in order to close the contract.
